Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aarambha collects, accesses, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit aarambha.io or use Aarambha, including information made available when you connect a Google account.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Aarambha's website and product services. Aarambha provides AI-assisted go-to-market research, qualification, and outreach workflows for B2B teams. It also applies when a user chooses to connect a third-party account, including a Google account, to enable supported product functionality.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Aarambha, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, work email address, phone number, company details, support requests, and information submitted through forms. We may also collect ordinary service and device information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs.

Google user data

If you choose to connect a Google account, Aarambha accesses only the Google data and permissions presented to you on Google's OAuth consent screen and required for the features you choose to enable. This may include basic Google account identity information such as your name and email address and, where separately authorized, data required to provide connected email or other Google-integrated workflow features.

Google API Services User Data

Aarambha's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How Google user data is accessed

Google user data is accessed only after you initiate the Google connection flow and grant permission through Google's OAuth consent screen. Aarambha does not ask for your Google password. Access is controlled through OAuth tokens issued by Google. You can decline requested permissions or disconnect the integration.

4. How we use information

We use information to operate, secure, support, and improve Aarambha; provide the features you request; respond to support enquiries; prevent abuse; maintain service reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

For Google-connected features, Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing functionality that you explicitly enable. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data.

5. Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Where OAuth credentials or tokens are retained to keep a connection active, they are stored with access controls appropriate to their sensitivity.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal requirements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our operational retention practices.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We may disclose information to service providers that process data on our behalf for hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, customer support, and similar operational functions, subject to appropriate contractual or confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising. Any disclosure of Google user data is limited to what is necessary to provide or secure the user-requested service, comply with applicable law, or as otherwise permitted by Google's API policies and with user consent where required.

7. Your choices and controls

You may disconnect your Google account from Aarambha through available product settings or revoke Aarambha's access from your Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future API access, but does not automatically remove information that Aarambha is required or permitted to retain for legitimate operational or legal purposes.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us at contact@aarambha.io. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

8. Website analytics

Our public website may use analytics and performance technologies to understand site usage, measure performance, and improve the website. These technologies may collect device and usage information such as pages visited, browser information, and approximate network-derived location.

9. Children

Aarambha is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our service, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will update the date shown above when we make material revisions and will provide additional notice where required.
